On December 28, 1999 Percy Shaw got a digital four-track for his birthday. Although he was already writing songs; playing drums, guitar, bass and piano; now he could put it all together on a cassette tape to play for his friends in his Plymouth Voyager! Truly I Say To You...; released in the winter of 2009; is the most recent of a total of five full-length albums recorded by Percy Shaw; all of which have received high acclaim from the four or five friend's of Percy's who have copies. On July 19, 2010; in collaboration with musician/outlaw Dunloy Coy; Percy Shaw released a new EP entitled "There's no garden at the Wayside Inn!". The four new songs on the EP feature Dunloy Coy on vocals and introduce yet another stylistic divergence to a more country (the good kind) sound. A state-wide tour will follow; in the fall of 2010; as Percy and his band of ruffians bring their capos and capers to Maryland's finest coffee houses and senior centers.
